Community Guidelines

Last updated 28 September 2026

Arcus Habits is about showing up for your habits with the people who cheer you on. To keep it a safe, encouraging place, everyone follows these rules.

What’s welcome

  • Honest proof photos of you doing your habit.
  • Kind, supportive comments.
  • Captions that add colour to your streak.

What’s not allowed

  • Harassment or bullying — no insults, threats, or pile-ons.
  • Hate speech — nothing that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or similar.
  • Sexual or nude content — and absolutely nothing that sexualises minors. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
  • Violence or self-harm — no graphic violence or content that encourages self-harm.
  • Illegal content, impersonation, or scams and spam.
  • Faking proof — don’t post someone else’s photo as your own or try to trick the capture system.

How we enforce this

  • Report any photo, comment, or person: tap the ⋯ menu on a post, or long-press a comment, and choose Report. Pick a reason — our team reviews every report.
  • Block anyone from the same menu, or manage your list in Profile → Blocked users. Blocking hides their content from you and yours from them.
  • We review reports (target: [24–72 hours]) and may remove content, warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts.
  • Text is also passed through an automated filter that rejects the worst slurs and abuse markers before it posts.
